Zita and Bunny Crochet Design

Crochet Bunny Pattern, Zara

Zara, the crochet bunny is one of the easiest pattern that I highly recommend for beginners. This pattern only uses the basic stitches and the finished bunny is absolutely adorable. It is perfect for little girls who like everything pink and girlie.

Pin it now, make it later!

My obsession for crochet came, when I first saw a crochet bunny online. It was so cute, I wanted to do it myself. I put my shoes on, went to the nearest craft shop and I bought a ball of yarn along with a crochet hook. I taught myself how to crochet with the help of YouTube. It was not easy.

I never purchased any bunny pattern, because it had to be exactly how I wanted it to be. I failed many times. Once it had a head too small, the other time it had too big legs and so on.

When I finally came up with this crochet bunny, I knew I created something lovely.

She is so cute, elegant, and beautiful, I had to name her after my daughter, whose middle name is Zara.

Zara, this little crochet bunny loves to read, and write stories. She has a wide imagination and can talk for hours. Zara likes to do craft and help her mum around the house. She has many friends, but the closest to her heart is her family. Zara, our little crochet bunny can spend hours talking with her mum, and play with her brother.

I hope Zara will bring you as much joy, as it does for me. If you crochet this bunny, please share it with me and I can show it to my daughter, who is very proud of her namesake friend.

Caution!

Please be very cautious when you make toys for babies or children under the age of 3. If you sew parts on it, make sure they are secure and safe.

I recommend, to embroider the eyes, as the plastic safety eyes can be dangerous. My tutorial for embroidery eyes can be found here
